A leading consulting firm is searching for a Finance Transformation Manager in Montreal, Canada. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with experience in managing and delivering finance transformation projects. We are seeking a creative problem solver who enjoys working in teams and has experience in finance and consulting to bring their expertise to our team. As a Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the team to analyze financial data, develop strategies, and present the team’s findings to clients. You will work closely with other consultants and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Recognizing the changing and fast‑paced professional landscape, you will team with engagement leadership to bring our broad range of capabilities and insights to enhance the effectiveness of the finance and operations function. You will be part of our Finance Transformation team and help clients by focusing on providing business advisory services that achieve measurable benefits in operational efficiency and strategic decision making.

We help organisations achieve strategic alignment of their finance organisation, implement service and cost improvement initiatives, and embed a performance management process and culture that unite the business around its core objectives. The insights and quality services we provide help our clients build trust and confidence in the digital transformation of finance processes. We play a critical role in disrupting current financial functions through the optimal intervention of technology, and we make digital transformation a realistic goal by efficiently analysing and utilising business data.
As a Finance Transformation Manager or Senior Manager, you are expected to utilise your knowledge and experience to provide innovative solutions to clients as well as produce insightful thought leadership. You will actively contribute to improving operational efficiency and ensuring high quality on projects and internal initiatives. Your role in leading teams (or parts of teams) on projects will depend on the size of engagement and will be under the responsibility of higher levels; they will also look to you to anticipate and identify risks and elevate issues as appropriate. Additionally, you will establish, maintain, and strengthen client relationships as a trusted business advisor, and identify potential business opportunities for EY.
As an influential member of the team, you will help to create a positive learning culture and will actively coach and counsel junior team members to help them develop.
Ideally, you’ll also have knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas: finance transformation; process transformation and improvement; planning, budgeting and forecasting; performance measurement and performance management; business performance reporting; cost reduction; shared service centres and business process outsourcing; financial statement close.
