Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you will be responsible for activities of the Field Operation Branch in Ontario and West Canada Region, leading to the production of financial information that meets the organization’s needs, maintaining systems and procedures, and ensuring a strong control environment to support operations. The organization is growing rapidly, and we need you and your expertise!

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
- Work closely with the Regional Vice President and Regional Directors to ensure sound management of each partner organization
- Participate in the Management Committee of the business unit
- Will be required to travel to various sites as part of the role (Ontario, Alberta, BC)
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for entities under your responsibility to deliver timely financial information
- Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and recommend actions to optimize each branch profitability
- Prepare financial reports for monthly performance review meetings
- Supervise, develop, and guide the accounting team under your responsibility
- Supervise, develop, and guide the credit and collection team under your responsibility
- Implement and optimize internal control systems and processes. Align accounting practices with industry best practices
- Actively participate in the preparation of financial budgets and forecasts. Monitor each partner’s budget and performance indicators
- Coordinate financial audits, respond to auditors’ comments, and oversee corrective actions
- Participate in due diligence reviews for potential acquisitions
- Support the integration process for acquisitions
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of the new ERP – Microsoft D365
- Propose action plans to ensure annual financial objectives are met
- Communicate potential risks clearly and effectively
- Understand and interpret BI data to generate relevant analyses. Identify opportunities for improvement within dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs)
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CPA designation
- Over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance
- 10+ years in a similar role within a centralized function environment
- ERP systems experience
- Strong adaptability
- Solid leadership skills
- Organized, autonomous, proactive, and sound judgment
- Clear and effective communicator and team player
