Job summary

A community-driven tribal organization in Inuvik is seeking a full-time Finance individual to assist with financial reporting and bookkeeping. Ideal candidates have an accounting degree and at least five years of experience in related fields. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong numeracy skills are essential. Prioritized consideration will be given to enrolled participants of the Gwich'in Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years' experience in bookkeeping, management, or a related profession.
  • Certification as a CPA or CAFM preferred.
  • Strong typing skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyze, and report financial data.
  • Make entries in accounting systems.
  • Assist with sales tax preparation and audits.
