Responsibilities
  • Partner with business unit leaders to drive financial performance and strategy
  • Analyze financial and operational results, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Consolidate and present reports, KPIs, variance analysis, and profit bridges to management
  • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning for assigned plants/division
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making and cost-control initiatives
  • Oversee operational analysis, costing, waste performance, and continuous improvement tracking
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) alignment with business strategies
  • Approve and monitor pricing recommendations, ensuring compliance and profitability
  • Lead working capital reporting, procurement savings, and key improvement actions
  • Collaborate on capital projects, overseeing governance, evaluations, and post-mortems
  • Support business development, deal analysis, and financial integration initiatives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to plant leadership and divisional leaders
  • Contribute to multi-functional projects impacting revenues over $5M+ and multiple business units
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, or Finance (required)
  • CPA, CMA, CFA designation or Master’s degree (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience within TC Transcontinental (asset)
  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting skills
  • Experience in change management and project management
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and financial modeling tools
  • Ability to influence without authority and partner cross-functionally
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with leadership teams
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving, and strategic thinking
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize, multitask, and deliver under ambiguity
  • Bilingual (English required, French an asset)
