What You’ll Do

The successful incumbent will work alongside the Associate Manager Field Operations and Training, supporting the National Field Team of District Sales Managers, Retail Execution Managers, Field Operations Managers, and all Store Operations including Logistics, Warehouse Management, eCommerce, and Operational Excellences.

  • Create and develop new training materials, including videos, presentations, and documentation.
  • Update and maintain tools, documentation, and training materials to drive positive change within the field team.
  • Ensure consistent language, style, and formatting across all documentation.
  • Organize production schedules for projects and work closely with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  • Deliver training sessions both virtually and in-person.
  • Support communication of programs through various channels such as weekly calls, team meetings, workshops, SharePoint sites, and conference calls.
  • Maintain the Field Operations Team SharePoint site and documents, including training templates.
  • Establish strong relationships with Field Operations Managers and other cross‑functional teams.
  • Document feedback to refine and improve programs and initiatives.
  • Assist with program tracking, scheduling, and capacity planning for the REM Team.
What You Bring

Minimum qualifications and expectations for the role.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Canadian Tire retail or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of related field experience with a preference for 3 years in organizational effectiveness/adult learning.
  • Undergraduate degree required; post‑graduate degree preferred in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Adult Learning or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong knowledge in logistics, warehouse management, eCommerce, and general retail operations.
  • Advanced expertise in workforce planning, change management, team effectiveness, and employee engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies that achieve financial performance and operational targets.
  • Strong influencing and consulting skills with the ability to build key relationships and promote new ideas.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change and ambiguity.
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement by challenging the status quo.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and video editing software; experience with AI platforms is a strong asset.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license and personal vehicle.
  • Travel across Canada as required.
