Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosis and repair of equipment
- Perform routine scheduled Planned Maintenance (PM) services, appraisals and Safety Inspections
- Complete all necessary timecard and report documentation as required
- Complete shop or road work as required by Supervisor’s direction when required
- Communicate repair status and requirements with customers and Supervisors alike
- Excel the ‘customer experience’ by being professional at all times
- Order and track all parts request to meet the customer expectation
- Other related duties, as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Previous aerial, lift truck and heavy-duty experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and computer skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to contribute positively to the team environment
- Willingness and desire to learn
- A proactive autonomous individual able to set own standards and succeed
- Physical capabilities necessary to perform duties of the position (lifting & mobility)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Training, Education and Experience
- Red Seal Heavy-Duty Equipment certification or equivalent experience in construction and material handling
- General ability to carry out diagnostics and repairs on Spark Ignition LPG engines and systems, Compression Ignition engines, Hydraulic and electrical systems as well as reading schematics from each

Working conditions
The position is based out of the Surrey branch and works 40 hours on average per week Monday to Friday. Some travel may be required, as assigned.
