Employment Type: Term – Ending September 2026, Full Time – 35 hours per week

Since our beginnings in the late 1980s, CSFS has grown to over 475 employees providing services to 11-member Nations.

Responsibilities
  • Gathers information relevant to the client by interviewing, observing behavior, meeting with caregivers and service providers and using a variety of inventories, checklists and questionnaires
  • Provides support, guidance and problem-solving to clients to address issues related to family functioning in an individual or group setting using techniques such as active listening, conflict resolution, basic group counselling techniques and psycho-educational group methods to resolve the identified problems, needs and risks
  • Develop and implement a Family Service Plan
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Social Work, Child & Youth Care or a comparable degree; or
  • Social Services Diploma with two years extensive experience

Additional information

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $31.89 to $41.30 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on role-specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and factors such as market conditions and internal equity.

Please note that this is a term position ending in September 2026 and is not eligible for employee benefits.
