Pay: CA$40,000.00 - CA$65,000.00 per year
Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Laval QC office (with the possibility of hybrid flexibility in the future).

Job Description
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, custody, and support guidelines
- Draft and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, agreements, and subpoenas
- Prepare and review discovery requests and financial disclosures (income, assets, expenses)
- E-file motions, orders, and pleadings with the appropriate courts
- Manage case timelines, deadlines, hearings, and attorney calendars
- Communicate with clients to gather documents and provide status updates
- Maintain detailed case files and organized evidence records (digital and paper)
- Summarize evidence, testimony, and key case developments
- Support attorneys with billing entries, draft invoices, and expense records
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in French and English (required)
- Proven experience as a Family Law Paralegal (minimum 2+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of court procedures, filing systems, and discovery processes
- Excellent drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive client communications with professionalism
- Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Canadian citizenship preferred (valid work authorization required at minimum)
