Overview

Hybrid - This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Oshawa Assembly three times per week, at minimum.

The Role

The Facilities Contracts & Supplier Relationships Analyst will be responsible for the development and integrity of the scope and framework for Facility Services Contracts at GM Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing locations Primarily in Canada.

What You’ll Do
  • Development and integrity of the scope and framework for Facility Services Contracts at GM Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing locations Primarily in Canada
  • Build business partner relationships, continuous improvement, service quality delivery, coaching for improvement and support gap closure on performance.
  • Contract deliverables, change control, and driving cost and scope benchmarking to optimize contract strategies.
  • T3 Train to train the trainers or users on systems (e.g., SA On-Demand, SA Structure, SA KPIs) or processes that support contracts and/or service quality delivery
  • Use broad knowledge and perspective; is future oriented; can create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans.
  • Customer Satisfaction - Meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and business partners and gains their trust and respect.
  • Innovation Management - Bringing the creative ideas of others to market; use expertise judgment about which creative ideas and suggestions will work.
  • Value Tracking - Oversight of service agreement cost savings consolidations for reporting through Reliance and BPD Cost initiatives
  • Supporting Sustainability efforts through our contractual language to align our Suppliers with GMs Goals and Initiatives around ESG
Your Skills & Abilities: (Required)
  • Post Secondary Education required, Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, engineering, finance, facility management or a related field is preferred.
Must have 3-5 years of work experience in the following areas
  • Technical writing, knowledge of contracting practices and concepts, working understanding of process controls and audit methods, records management discipline, presentations, training instructor
  • Technical aptitude for design of maintenance and operation of buildings and systems
  • Passion for problem solving and desire to learn root cause analysis and troubleshooting methods
  • Creative solutions for solving problems that have ambiguity
  • Experience in planning, creation, execution of technical tasks, and financial tracking
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience and Passion for problem solving and desire to learn root cause analysis and troubleshooting methods
  • Experience in leading teams and projects
