Overview

Magna Golf Club, one of Canada's most exclusive private clubs located in Aurora, Ontario, is currently looking for fulltime EXPERIENCED SERVERS to join our amazing food and beverage team! Our club offers year-round dining and we are looking for yearlong candidates who can work both lunch and dinner shifts, including weekends.

A Server will provide the highest level of service to all Members and guests, ensuring Magna Golf Club’s core values are always upheld. We are looking for strong individuals who pride themselves on exceeding expectations by contributing to an unparalleled service experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all sections are set and ready for service.
• Guide members through the menu, offering suggestions and highlighting specials that fit their preferences.
• Possess strong menu knowledge and the ability to modify the dishes based on preference and dietary restrictions.
• Anticipate member needs through member profiles and reservation lists.
• Create an unforgettable service experience and leave every member feeling valued and unique.
• Other duties as assigned and required by management.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 1 years experience serving in a golf club or high end restaurant.
• Be dedicated to a high level of service and professionalism.
• Have exceptional attention to detail.
• Be a positive high energy individual.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.
• Be able to work well under pressure and effectively balance multiple tasks.
• Be an effective communicator and passionate about working in a team environment.
• Be proficient in POS Systems, JONAS Clubhouse Software is considered an asset.
• Have flexible full-time availability; holiday, evening and weekend shifts are required.
• Have Smart Serve certification.
• Be able to work legally in Canada.
