Summary Of The Role

Mammoet is looking for a task-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our Tendering and Estimating team in Ft.McMurray, AB. This role will be responsible for the creation of estimate packages, project estimations, technical risk mitigation plans, and bid preparation, all in alignment with internal bidding protocols. This ensures that the company receives well-considered, comprehensive proposals that meet both customer expectations and internal bidding standards, all within the established timelines.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Conduct all business in a professional, respectful manner
  • Ensure the quotations prepared are in line with the global tendering guidelines
  • Consult operations/engineering to ensure proposals are operationally feasible with execution methods confirmed by engineering
  • Contribute to and implement Tendering/Estimating policy and determine execution strategies in line with the sales strategy
  • Understand and execute project requirements
  • Estimates the cost of work and provide quotes or bid packages to the client
  • Follows up with clients to determine the status of the quoted work and answer any questions they may have
What You’ll Need

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in a related technical field preferred (CET, EIT)
  • Heavy Lift/Crane/Transport technical understanding desired
  • Industrial or Pre-Construction Management experience in similar industry
  • Basic level experience in sales systems
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
