Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Wage Range: Starting at $29.00/hr
YOUR ROLE: This position is responsible for preventive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting, analyzing, and repair of the company’s rolling stock machinery (lift trucks, pallet wrappers, and other miscellaneous electrical or mechanical equipment).
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments on all material handling equipment on time without disrupting production.
- Troubleshoot and repair all material handling equipment.
- Ensure all material handling equipment is maintained and repaired in an accurate manner to protect the safety and well-being of all employees utilizing it.
- Document labor and materials used for repairs, communicate inventory needs and usage.
- Utilization of technical manuals and reading schematic diagrams.
- Utilization of multimeters, electronic test equipment, hand tools, drills, grinders, and presses.
ROLE SPECIFICS
- Extensive standing/walking on concrete floors.
- Working at heights.
- Overtime may be required.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
- High school diploma, GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Good mechanical aptitude and applicable certification.
- Must have own tools.
- Good physical condition and agility to access all areas of the facilities for installation and repair of equipment.
- Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely.
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE:
- Two years maintenance trades experience.
- Computer literate.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment.
- Safety training and/or certification preferred.
