A regional community organization is seeking an on-call worker responsible for responding to calls outside of office hours related to child and youth welfare services. This role involves initiating investigations, providing crisis intervention, and ensuring the safety of children in care. THE POSITION
This position will report to the WBS Manger, the on-call worker is responsible for responding to all calls received outside of normal office hours. This position is responsible for a broad range of child and youth welfare services including intake, assessment, and clinical interventions with children and their families in communities. This person will be required to initiate investigations of abuse/neglect, offer crisis intervention services, admit children into care are safe and protected. This position answers incoming calls then connect with the manager or supervisor before making any decision making.
