Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $19,007 to $33,540, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers\' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).

Job Summary

Elementary Co-Teacher, Grades K-6

0.30 FTE temporary contract, starting September 12, 2025 or upon completion of the posting process to June 26, 2026.

Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Elementary level. It would be considered an asset to have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Learning Services/Inclusive Education.

This position will support multiple classrooms and the schedule is still to be determined. Please note that all work will be on site.

Additional Notes

Please note: Continuing teachers will need to vacate their continuing assignment in order to accept a temporary assignment, unless the FTE is greater in the temporary job posting.
