Overview

As an Electrical road engineering Team Lead, you will manage a team of approximately eight engineers and technicians and assist the Deputy Director of Road Engineering in achieving the department’s multidisciplinary objectives for the Québec Metropolitan Community and Eastern Québec.

Your role

Within the electrotechnical team at our Québec office, you will:

  • Support the Deputy Director of Road Engineering in implementing methods and procedures aligned with corporate standards.

  • Manage the department’s human, financial, and material resources.

  • Contribute to business development initiatives for the department.

  • Act as project manager for multiple projects.

  • Participate in the design of transportation electrification plans, including roadway lighting, traffic signals, surveillance cameras, underground fiber optic networks, variable message signs, and vehicle classification/counting sites as required.

  • Ensure client satisfaction and compliance with service commitments, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.

About You
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Registered as a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.

  • Have at least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years managing large‑scale electrotechnical projects and at least 3 years in team management or technical coordination.

  • Proficiency in French (spoken and written).

  • Have experience delivering major projects for MTMD and in alternative delivery models.
