Qualifications

Job description
Brief Description

Our Rental Technicians are qualified electricians with hands‑on experience. They take on the responsibility of making sure our equipment is always fully operational and ready for any rental at any time.

  • Prepare rental equipment to suit customer project needs
  • Inspection and quality assurance testing and reports of rental and sale equipment
  • Preventative maintenance and minor repairs to rental equipment
  • Shipping and receiving of rental and sale equipment
  • Maintaining a high level of presentation and organization in our yard, warehouse and common areas
  • Some work beyond regular hours required to attend to after‑hours calls

Equipment includes: Automatic and manual transfer switches, distribution panels, dry/padmount/substation transformers, cable, motor starters, breakers, splitters, and more across a range of voltages and amperage levels.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years as a qualified working electrician (Red Seal Journeyman)
  • Commercial and industrial electrical construction, repairs, maintenance and commissioning to high and low voltage systems
  • Able to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids
  • Able to locate and correct defects in electrical systems and equipment
