Aplin is searching for an Electrical Estimator to join a growing team in Calgary, AB. They are looking for an experienced Electrical Tradesperson or Electrical Technologistwho understands constructability and enjoys working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven estimating environment. You will play a key role in supporting estimating pursuits across multiple regional offices and contributing to competitive, well-structured bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates and support bid pursuits for new projects
• Review drawings and specifications; complete take-offs and device counts
• Develop RFIs, assess project risks, and identify key cost drivers
• Build accurate estimates usingAccubid, supplier pricing, and site information
• Present estimates, assumptions, and risks during internal review meetings
• Support project handover, budgets, change orders, and contract requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Journeyperson Electrician, 4th-Year Electrical Apprentice, or Electrical Technologist diploma
• Strong working knowledge ofAccubid,Excel, andBluebeam
• Solid understanding of theCanadian Electrical Code (CEC), wiring methods, and constructability
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Valid driver’s licence
