Responsibilities

  • Define the system relevant interfaces including identification and register.
  • Propose leaders for system interface control documents and liaise with subsystems.
  • Ensure consistency and completeness by reviewing designs.
  • Manage detailed interfaces definition and identify risks and gaps.

Purpose of the job

The role of the E&M interface engineer will be to define and manage the interfaces with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Define the system relevant interfaces: interface identification, interface register
  • Define the system interface control documents (ICD), propose the leader of theinterface, liaise with subsystems to ensure the production and agreement of the ICD
  • Ensure interface consistency and completeness by reviewing designs and actively participating in requirements management process
  • Manage the detailed interfaces definition
  • identify risks, scope gaps and grey areas and escalate as needed
Educational requirements
  • University Degree in engineering
  • Licensed with professional engineers of ontario (P.Eng.) or in progress
