Drain Technician / Drain Cleaning Tech – Tom Drexler Plumbing, Air & Electric

Work Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday with rotating Saturday and on-call shifts

Compensation: Competitive base hourly wage (DOE) + Performance-Based Incentives

Reports To: Plumbing Service Manager

What You’ll Do

  • Perform residential drain cleaning services, clearing a wide variety of drains
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Safely operate company-provided equipment and maintain tools and vehicles
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide solutions with a sales-minded approach
  • Work independently while maintaining accountability to team goals
  • Lift up to 75 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks regularly
  • Participate in rotating Saturday and on-call shifts as scheduled

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in residential plumbing service (drain cleaning preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Availability Monday–Friday with rotating Saturday and on-call shifts
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to build long-term relationships
  • Comfortable with the sales aspect of service delivery
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, MVR review, and drug screen

Preferred:

  • Experience with drain cleaning equipment and residential plumbing systems
  • Desire to pursue Plumbing Journeyman’s License with company support
