The dock lead will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers of products using a sit-down forklift in a warehouse. This role involves handling product and requires heavy lifting up to 50lbs. The dock lead will work closely with a team of 5-6 employees, taking directions from the afternoon supervisor, training new employees, and occasionally covering for the supervisor during holidays. Additionally, the candidate will use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for documenting shipments and inventory.
This is a long-term opportunity with the potential for a permanent position. Employees can look forward to a wage increase of $1 after one year, reflecting a commitment to growth and development.
The work environment is a quiet warehouse dedicated to storing and distributing carpet and flooring products. The facility is safety-oriented with a strong emphasis on attention to detail. The shift runs from Monday to Friday, 1:00pm to 9:30pm.
This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.
The pay range for this position is $22.25 - $22.25/hr.
