POSITION: Distribution & Logistics Manager

RECRUITMENT SALARY RANGE: $91,000 - $118,000*

Reporting to the Market and Business Operations Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end process of new vehicle ordering, allocation, and delivery for JLR in Canada. This includes strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and continuous optimization of logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and customer-focused distribution. The role also oversees all distribution-related activities, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with commercial objectives.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

In this role, no two tasks are the same. With lots of projects and relationships to build with people across the business and beyond, it’s a challenge that will help your career grow within an iconic organization. Here’s what to expect:

  • Ordering & Allocation: Administer order calls with Recommended Order Bank, collaborate with Corporate Sales analyst to manage company/internal and corporate sales orders, and monitor vehicle status across production, transit, port and rail.
  • Model Setup & Accessories: Coordinate new models, model year, and accessories setup with Brand Managers; support pricing and updates with Finance.
  • Distribution Operations: Oversee ship receipting, inventory tracking, and port/rail compound coordination, including special vehicle movements.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Lead wholesale forecasting, ensure timely, accurate reporting through departmental dashboards and develop ad-hoc reporting.
  • Transit Damage: Manage end-to-end damage claims and prompt resolution.
  • Leadership & Projects: Supervise analyst, lead process improvements, and support contract renewals with Purchasing.
  • Stakeholder Support: Provide timely support to Director, Market and Business Operations, Regional Performance Managers, Retailers, and vendors.
  • Perform other duties as required.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years in automotive logistics, distribution, or supply chain.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex operations and drive improvements.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and environmental compliance.

Schedule:Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

*Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position”.
