Overview
Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development at Industries Lassonde, the Director of Strategy & Corporate Development – Beverage Division will play a key role in shaping and executing Lassonde’s strategic agenda, with a dedicated focus on the Beverage Division. The Director will work closely with the President of the Beverage Division for North America, General Managers of business units, operational and functional leaders, and other members of the beverage leadership team. The role also involves close collaboration with the broader corporate executive team to ensure strategic alignment across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual business planning process, ensuring alignment with long-term priorities and across functions and business units.
- Manage high-impact strategic projects from scoping to execution, including portfolio transformation, operational improvement initiatives, and cross-functional efforts.
- Drive corporate development activities, including building and managing a robust pipeline of opportunities (e.g., mergers & acquisitions, strategic partnerships), overseeing the full lifecycle from assessment to deal execution and integration.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics in the beverage sector, extracting actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop clear, compelling presentations and strategic narratives for the executive team and board, translating complex analysis into impactful storytelling.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, aligning them around strategic priorities and enabling effective decision-making.
Required Training And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or corporate development.
- Experience in the food and beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is a strong asset.

- Exceptional PowerPoint presentation skills, able to distill complex ideas into clear, visually engaging, and executive-ready materials.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English is essential – frequent interactions with colleagues and suppliers who are unilingual English speakers in other provinces or countries.
