Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a Director of Sales - Forestry for the Quebec and Atlantic region.

This position is responsible for increasing market share of new forestry equipment sales and providing guidance on the valuations of used equipment coming into inventory.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Achieve market share goals to ensure the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company.
  2. Meet asset management goals, including inventory turnover, minimizing aging, and protecting company assets such as new and used equipment.
  3. Contribute to the development of standardized build codes for inventory products.
  4. Provide detailed feedback and forecasts for inventory levels to meet sales and market share objectives.
  5. Offer insights into future opportunities and monitor competitive pressures.
  6. Promote and sell Telematic and Machine monitoring capabilities that differentiate Brandt and John Deere products.
  7. Assist in evaluating competitive quotes, pricing, and offers to enhance market intelligence, share, and margins.
  8. Develop and implement effective sales and marketing programs for forestry products.
  9. Travel regularly to interact with customers and Brandt TM’s on job sites, providing mentorship and guidance on sales strategies and tactics.
  10. Support the development of all employees within the area of responsibility to build a knowledgeable, motivated, and successful team.
  11. Manage duties, assignments, and expenses of Corporate Product Managers in the area.
  12. Collaborate with branch sales teams to build relationships with mill yard customers and develop multi-level sales strategies.
  13. Provide feedback to Brandt Engineered Products for the development of attachments and products to expand business opportunities.
  14. Participate in Brandt/Deere DAG/CAG initiatives as required.
  15. Fluent in both English and French.
  16. Perform other projects as assigned.
