A leading educational institution in the Niagara Region seeks a Director, Counselling for its Integrated Student Health Division. This role involves developing and improving counselling services, collaborating for student success, and managing a departmental budget. Applications are invited for the position of Director, Counselling in the Integrated Student Health Division, located at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus and Welland Campus. The salary range is $125,153 to $156,441 for a 35 hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Integrated Student Health, the Director, Counselling leads the development and continuous improvement of counselling services that widen access and inclusion to healthcare, and advance student success. Responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of counselling services for students, the incumbent collaborates with college leaders to advance equity, support student wellbeing, and guides mental health initiatives across the student life cycle. Using Stepped Care 2.0 ©, the Director partners across the organization to strengthen shared responsibility for student health and wellbeing, while attending to the unique needs of a diverse student population.
