Job Description
  • Manage the entire level design team.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to iterate, implement, and execute key design and level-building principles.
  • Design, block out, build, and iterate levels through playtesting and feedback implementation.
  • Work with the art team to ensure visual quality while maintaining gameplay and fun.
  • Take full ownership of the design process from concept to shipping, including scripting, debugging, and optimization.
  • Mentor team members, assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Identify cross-disciplinary challenges and propose solutions proactively.
  • Promote open, honest, and respectful communication across disciplines.
Qualifications
  • Expertise in game design, both practical and theoretical.
  • Must have designed levels for a multiplayer title within the last 5 years.
  • At least 10 years of professional level design experience, including leadership roles.
  • Experience working on AAA shooter titles.
  • At least 2 shipped AAA games on PC or console.
  • Self-motivated with strong prioritization skills and quality focus.
  • Ability to understand and implement feedback effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and motivation.
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine is a plus.
