Digital Marketing Manager - Home Delivery & E-Commerce

In this role you'll develop and execute a variety of home delivery and digital initiatives that accelerate sales and traffic and enhance the perception of 7-Eleven and its owned brands among customers and Canadian consumers. You will also lead cross-functional projects and expand digital programs in partnership with the US digital team to provide a superior experience for both customers and the team enabling an accelerated digital transformation across Team Canada.
Responsibilities
- Home Delivery program lead: Leads marketing strategy and initiatives to exponentially grow home delivery sales & traffic through the proprietary 7NOW home delivery app and third-party food delivery partnerships.
- Oversee P&L and financials to drive profitable home delivery growth influencing merchandising marketing and store operations.
- Identify and implement new strategic growth opportunities by strengthening business relationships with Third Party delivery vendor partners and US teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising product store operations and US product and technology teams to enable growth opportunities.
- Oversee day-to-day marketing activities including product listings promotions advertising and communications to grow awareness of home delivery service to acquire customers and drive repeat purchases.
- Digital product lead: Canada lead for digital product integration and strategically partner with US product team to enable digital transformation to meet Canada consumer needs.
- Ensure cross functional teams Canadianize and deliver services as needed to support launches and improvements for delivery and other digital programs to support store operations and customer experience.
- Demonstrate a customer obsessed 0 error approach for external and internal customers - ensuring that every digital product program and delivery menu has a formal test protocol before going live.
- Manage E-commerce for 7-Eleven Merchandise and SpeakOut Wireless.
- Work collaborative with operations lead to support sales building and insight driven growth through partner platforms and 7-eleven data.
- Responsible for measuring success of home delivery and e-commerce channels and accountable for achieving KPI metrics and regularly reporting to leadership.
- Coaching and mentoring direct report fostering a collaborative environment focused on growth and continuous improvement.
- Oversee home delivery budget and annual marketing planning to grow home delivery sales through strong customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
- Monitors trends with emerging digital platforms and enables processes and technologies within function to achieve efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing Digital / E-Commerce Category Management Communications Business or Related Field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in digital marketing and e-commerce management marketing and product management communications or brand management preferably in retail convenience or QSR industry.
- Experience in store operations would be an asset.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns using data & insights that have driven sales customer acquisition and retention.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and partnership management.
- Leadership capabilities to lead cross-functional teams and direct report.
- Proven track record of creative and resourceful approaches to unique business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability in making brand-appropriate & business building strategic decisions.
- Self-motivated with ability to take initiative and pursue opportunities - from scoping to execution.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously ranging from strategy to execution.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills required.
- Works well independently and with a small team; project management skills and creativity is a must.
- Proficiency with monitoring and reporting on performance metrics and coaching team to course-correct as necessary.
- Able to quickly assess an opportunity with incomplete data, frame a strategy, business case and action plan; then drive a team to execute in market.
- Other: Salary range: CAD $90K - $120K depending on experience and qualifications. This will be a hybrid role with preference for candidates based in Vancouver or Toronto.
