YOUR ROLE AS A FIELD DIESEL TECHNICIAN

As our Field Technician, you will maintain, diagnose and repair anything from our Bobcat line up to Link-belt excavators and other heavy construction equipment. You will have a service truck to go to our customers' locations in and around Southeast Iowa. Some occasional overnight travel may be required. Punching on and off work orders as you move throughout your day and entering a detailed story into the computer of what you did to the machine is a daily task. Our customers are losing money when their machines are down, so they appreciate a good mechanic who can solve their machine trouble accurately and timely.

  • Operate a service truck to customer locations in and around Southeast Iowa; some overnight travel may be required.
  • Record detailed service observations and actions on work orders and computer systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate machine troubleshooting to minimize customer downtime.
  • Bring and use general tools of the trade to complete maintenance and repair tasks.
