As a DevOps Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

You will need to work as DevOps Specialist for lab and production deployment, and need to have good technical skill set along with prompt responses for supporting system requirements and ongoing productions operation during each task cycle.

  • Design, implement, enhance, maintain, review the solutions of automation/optimization for service deployment.
  • Implement, deploy, maintain, test and monitor service instances on Fortinet cloud platform.
  • Identify, document, track, review and analyze the services and internal processes for improvement and optimization.
  • Analyze service data and provide feedback to other Dev/QA engineers and infrastructure teams for improvements.
  • Implement scripts for related supporting systems for FortiDeceptor cloud services.
We are looking for:
  • Strong background and experience in production platform operations.
  • Expertise in OpenStack administration, as well as server virtualization (KVM, ESXi, HyperV etc).
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching and general network administration.
  • Proficiency in scripting language ( Bash, Python / RUST).
  • Knowledge of general service quality fundamentals.
  • Experience configuring, installing, and troubleshooting in Linux / Cloud environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Ability to manage tasks and deliver results within tight deadlines.
  • Strong documentation skills for writing problem reports, test results, and analysis reports.
  • Preferred Qualifications: certificate in CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/RHCE/OpenStack.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent experience.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $100,000 - $140,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
