Responsibilities

  • Design, build and support cloud environments to create medium to high sensitive digital products with a focus on quality, security, reliability, scalability and application of the industry best practices.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to ensure solutions are available.
  • Create, test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access.
  • Develop and maintain various CI/CD pipelines for the digital products.
  • Provide production support for the digital products, produce Root Cause Analysis (RCA) report and conduct the postmortem for production incidents.
  • Work with partners to establish relationship with their security, operations, and IT teams.
  • Team player with strong communication skills to collaborate and work within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Comfortable leading discussions and selling your ideas to technical and non-technical colleagues and senior management.

General Skills

  • Experience in one of the leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, etc.
  • Experience in maintaining complex Linux cloud environments, like CentOS, Ubuntu, or CoreOS, to support modern web technologies, APIs and legacy SOAP.
  • Experience setting up development environments and mechanism using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Maven and Jenkins or similar tools
  • Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node, etc.
  • Experience in build tools - Git, Ansible and Terraform, and how they can be integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of container-based virtualization technology like Docker, OCI, Podman etc.
  • Integration experience in building and using APIs E.g. Azure API Manager, IBM Connect etc.
  • Experience applying industry web, architectural and security standards and best practices.
  • Experience in mobile device management for various versions of cellular and tablets
  • Experience in configuring logging, metrics, and monitoring stack. Eg. Prometheus/Grafana/ Log Analytics
  • Experience in provisioning and maintaining SQL databases.

  • Seasoned Azure Cloud expert
  • Experience in Kubernetes production environment.
  • Familiar with container-based virtualization technology like Docker, OCI, Podman, etc.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and techniques and in-depth technical knowledge of system architectures including technical, data, application and network architectures.
  • Experience implementing software engineering practices for full software development life cycles (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes, and testing.
  • Experience working independently with high-level direction to build and maintain complex cloud environments - Linux VMs and Kubernetes/OpenShift
  • Experience in configuring logging, metrics, and monitoring stack. Eg. Prometheus/Grafana/ Log Analytics
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash
  • Experience in build tools - Ansible and Terraform, and how they can be integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Integration experience using and building APIs E.g. Azure API Manager, IBM Connect etc.,
  • Worked with relational and non-relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Hands on experience writing Kubernetes configuration deployments using (Kustomize/Helm/deployment configs)

Digital Credentials and Trust Services â 10%

  • Demonstrated experienced with implementing (deployment and configuration) Hyperledger Aries suite of tools and products, including ACA-Py, Mediator, Indy Registry Nodes, etc.
  • Has demonstrated understanding and experience with operating and supporting a Hyperleger Aries/Indy environment in a enterprise cloud based deployment.
  • Has experience working with related Open-Source community.

Design, Architecture, Standards and Best Practices â 20%

  • Experience in micro service design and implementation of IT solutions from the architectural design
  • Understanding of modern architectural principles for cloud-based solutions
  • Proven experience designing modern architectural patterns to support delivery of complex IT solutions that are reliable, secure, responsive and scalable.
  • Experience applying industry cloud and security standards and best practices to your work that can be adopted by others.
  • Implemented, and maintained DevOps continuous delivery pipelines to manage from build to deployment and cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as code practices.
  • Knowledge of common authentication technologies, security controls, and standard application security tools.
  • Experience in securing environments using offensive and defensive approaches.

Leadership & methodologies â 10%

  • Experience on a build/run team using agile methods such as understanding of product backlog in sprint planning, experience participating in scrum ceremonies, etc.
  • Experience collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Comfortable participating in design sprints and bringing your product and technical ideas to the wider team.

  • Experience in Kubernetes production environment (AKS).
  • Familiar with container-based virtualization technology like Docker, OCI, Podman, etc.

  • Automation experience within Azure DevOps environment
  • Experience with DevSec Ops - security.
