Responsibilities
  • Analyze background project information using engineering knowledge and critical thinking.
  • Design stormwater, sanitary and water systems, roads, and other civil infrastructure; collaborate with CAD staff on drawings.
  • Prepare technical reports and perform design calculations per applicable codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and consultants to ensure project goals are met.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to efficient project delivery.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering (Master’s degree considered an asset).
  • 4–10+ years of experience, ideally in a consulting environment.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail, independent judgment, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication abilities.
  • A collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
