Must have

• 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or BI
• Proven experience in team leadership
• Strong understanding of modern data environments (Power BI, Fabric, SQL, ETL/ELT, cloud platforms)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to connect data insights to business objectives
• Fluent in both French and English — required
• Availability to work 3 days per week from our Brossard office
• Certifications (Asset): Microsoft (Power BI, Fabric, Azure Data) – DAMA, CDMP, or relevant data governance certifications – Any pertinent certification in data, analytics, or cloud

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Data Services team, consisting of analysts, engineers, and BI specialists
• Clearly outline roles, expectations, and performance standards for team members
• Promote engagement, accountability, and talent retention within the team
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality and consistent outputs across all projects and recurring services
• Oversee key initiatives related to BI, analytics, governance, and data platforms
• Identify and manage operational risks effectively
• Standardize best practices and delivery methodologies for our services
• Enhance Data Services offerings, focusing on BI, analytics, governance, and AI readiness
• Align services with Nova DBA's strategic vision
• Collaborate with Account Management to support client growth and retention
• Contribute to service positioning and comprehensive documentation
