Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with experience in cabinet fabrication and installation. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various hand and power tools. The Cabinet Maker will contribute to creating high-quality cabinetry for residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate cabinets and custom woodwork according to specifications and design plans.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
  • Install cabinets, doors, fixtures, and hardware with precision.
  • Perform trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and other related tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
  • Assist in estimating materials needed for projects and manage inventory effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in cabinet making or woodworking; restoration industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong skills in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication techniques.
  • Knowledge of various carpentry techniques including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, caulking, and related tasks.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the fabrication and installation processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
