Scope of the position

The Counter staff is responsible for looking after all customers that come in, entering orders, and picking customers' orders. They must possess strong electrical knowledge and product information.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls in a professional manner
  • Responsible for handling customer service requests which include order picking, order entry, pricing, order maintenance etc.
  • Assist and support Account Managers with customer orders and requests
  • Responsible for quoting customers
  • Deal with product-related problems that customers may have, such as defective products and the return of products
  • Responsible for spec products for customers
  • Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of Warehouse experience
  • 2-4 years experience working in the electrical industry or equivalent knowledge
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills and professional phone manners
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50LBS
  • Must be willing to be Forklift trained
