Responsibilities
- Determine the size of food portions and costs
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Recruit and hire staff
Requirements
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
- Work setting: Must complete work at the physical location. No option to work remotely.
- Relocation: Willing to relocate. Relocation costs covered by employer.
- Transportation: Public transportation is available. Willing to travel.
- Physical capabilities: Fast‑paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, work under pressure.
