Job description
What Youll Do
  • Lead Financial Operations: Direct accounting policies budgetary processes and job costing while maintaining fiscal records and internal controls in alignment with ProMach policies.
  • Strategic Partnering: Work closely with the General Manager to identify value drivers and support informed data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with manufacturing, sales, engineering, purchasing and service teams to maximize value throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Performance Analysis: Develop, analyze and interpret financial and statistical data to assess profitability, budget performance and operational efficiency.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate and direct preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Revenue Recognition: Review and maintain orders for proper ASC 606-compliant revenue recognition.
  • Month-End & Year-End Leadership: Manage the accounting close process including reconciliations, journal entries, inventory analysis and financial reporting.
  • Capital Asset Oversight: Maintain fixed asset records, prepare capital expenditure requests and ensure sound investment decisions.
  • Job Costing: Analyze project costs to ensure accuracy and forecast project outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable tax laws and complete required reports, audits and filings.
  • ERP & Systems Management: Oversee the companys ERP (Syteline preferred) and other financial systems.
  • Team Leadership: Coach, mentor and evaluate accounting staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Shared Services Coordination: Partner with ProMachs Shared Services team to manage disbursements, credit and collections.
  • Financial Stewardship: Control expenses within budget and contribute to both short- and long-term company goals.
Who Were Looking For
  • Education & Experience:
  • B.S. in Accounting or Finance (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • 8-10 years experience in finance / accounting with a strong preference for manufacturing environments
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong background in financial analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Word
  • ERP experience (Syteline preferred)
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Proven leader and team player with history of influencing cross-functional teams
  • Analytical Skills:
  • Able to synthesize complex information and design efficient workflows
  • Business Mindset:
  • Forward-thinking, results-oriented and aligned with operational goals
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Primarily office-based with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor.
  • Minimal travel for audits, training or cross-site collaboration.
