Job description

Kelly Services is partnering with a growing esports and gaming production company to hire a permanent, fully remote Controller. Reporting to the CFO and CEO, the Controller will lead accounting operations and financial reporting while helping build scalable processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, payroll (Canada & US), and cash flow management
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support IFRS and TSX-V reporting requirements
• Lead audit and consolidation processes
• Ensure compliance with Canadian, US, and international tax and regulatory requirements
• Improve financial processes and internal controls to support growth

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including Controller-level responsibilities
• CPA designation required
• Exposure to U.S. tax and accounting strongly preferred
• Audit experience is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (US GAAP an asset)
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Hands-on experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
• Bilingual English/French is an asset

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 per year
