Overview

Contract Management Specialist (CMS) at Ritchie Bros. Financial Services. The CMS will be responsible for and completing lease and loan documentation on transactions approved by Ritchie Bros. Financial Services. The role involves interfacing with internal and external customers and is a hybrid position based out of Burnaby.

Responsibilities
  • Communicates effectively and coordinates with all parties involved in the transaction.
  • Refer all negotiations with respect to contracts to the appropriate Account Manager, and coordinate all addendums to existing contracts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely generation of documents by lenders and delivery of documents to customers.
  • Audit existing contracts and oversee contract modifications and deficiencies to submit to lenders for funding.
  • Manage workflow on a priority basis with respect to contract status for management.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional ad hoc duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to RBFS policies and procedures while identifying potential improvements to better manage risk.
  • May provide training to new hires when called upon.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of relevant contract-related work experience desired but not required.
  • Technological knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce and contract management and / or loan application software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Independent, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
  • Strong financial services knowledge.
