Job summary

A governmental agency in Shediac, New Brunswick, is looking for individuals to perform outdoor construction tasks. Responsibilities include loading and transporting materials, erecting scaffolding, assisting in construction and demolition of buildings, and cleaning sites. While no formal education is required, the position is physically demanding and requires handling heavy loads. Safety equipment, such as steel-toed boots and hard hats, is mandatory. Qualifications

  • No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Must be bondable for security purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload and transport construction materials.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, and barricades.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
