Qualifications

  • Grade 12, plus a Home Support/Resident Care Aide certificate, or equivalent.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Assists clients with activities of daily living to promote independence.
  • Provides personal care such as bathing, grooming, and mobilization.
  • Performs housekeeping tasks based on care plan requirements.
  • Reports unsafe conditions and changes in client condition.
  • Follows care plans related to meal preparation.
