Overview

Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) is dedicated to providing Canadians with the highest level of care across a wide range of home and community settings.

We are looking for Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDA) who have a passion for working with children and can provide support to our Speech Language Pathologists within our speech clinic and community. We are currently hiring a full time union position in Owen Sound and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Support Speech Language Pathologists within CTG's speech clinic and community settings. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and building strong rapport with clients and families.

Skills needed for success
  • Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) graduate certificate is required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of direct CDA experience
  • Previous experience in Pediatric setting is preferred
  • Member of the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association (CDAAC) considered an asset
  • You are a highly energetic and enthusiastic individual who loves to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Highly organized with ability to multitask conflicting priorities.
  • You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work within a multidisciplinary team
