Commercial (Sales) Global Trainee - Recent Graduate

Location: Calgary, AB - Canada

Department: Commercial (Sales)

Role

We are seeking a recent graduate to join our Commercial (Sales) team in Calgary, AB. The successful candidate(s) will be hired to be part of our Global Trainee (GT) Program. This 2-year rotation program includes opportunities for training, international travel and networking.

The Global Trainee position contributes to a specific function while they learn, train and improve skills in that particular area in order to gain a profound understanding of processes, products and services. For this role we are looking for candidates with Commerce, Business Administration, or Management University Degree with no more than 4 years of related professional experience.

During your time as a Global Trainee, you will:

  • Observe core processes through on the job training, project assignments and training activities.
  • Collaborate on critical projects execution.
  • Learn about Tenaris strategy, systems and processes.
  • Analyze information and prepare different deliverables as reports and processes. Gain deep knowledge of the processes exposed to.
  • Maintain regular contact with other areas of the company and interact with different hierarchical levels in order to achieve the expected performance and results.
  • Develop and manage a set of Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure the area’s results.
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
Experience and Education
  • No more than 4 years of related professional experience
  • Graduated with a Commerce, Business Administration, Management or Engineering degree in last 4 years
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills to produce reports
  • Power BI knowledge and/or experience is preferred
  • SAP experience would be considered an asset
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office application
