About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Commercial Payroll Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage end-to-end payroll for a diverse commercial workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. You will collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure payroll processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process end-to-end payroll for [number] employees across multiple commercial contracts.
  • Ensure all payroll data (hours, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions) is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Manage pension contributions, auto-enrolment, and holiday pay calculations.
  • Reconcile payroll reports, journals, and audit trails.
  • Respond promptly to payroll queries from employees, managers, and clients.
