A regional health authority located in Canada is seeking a Laboratory Combined Technologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and completing requisitions, monitoring patients, and performing lab tests, including ECG. Ideal candidates will have graduated from a recognized combined Laboratory/Medical Radiography Technician Program and have recent relevant experience. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a healthcare team are essential in this role.

Reporting to the Supervisor or designate, the Laboratory Combined Technologist receives and completes requisitions, forms and reports; monitors patients; performs general imaging procedures, as qualified, including archiving acquired images; carries out routine Laboratory and ECG testing, as qualified; utilizes computerized patient data systems; and prepares and monitors supplies and equipment.
Graduation from a recognized combined Laboratory/ Medical Radiography Technician Program; One (1) year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
