Columbia Icefield Jasper AB Retail Inventory Associate

Location: Jasper, AB. Job type: Seasonal, Full-time. Pay: $18.00 per hour.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee stocking and merchandising of souvenirs, clothing.

  • Work closely with the manager to maintain inventory levels.

  • Become familiar with the POS system, particularly back-office functions such as automatic purchase orders and inter-location transfer of inventory.

  • Monitor security in the retail environment; carry out cycle inventories as per Pursuit SOP.

  • Uphold merchandising and display standards.

  • Delegate merchandising and stocking duties as required.

  • Ensure service is friendly, courteous, and professional.

  • Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, including proper handling of cash, credit cards, and cash-out forms as required.

  • Keep the sales floor and storage areas clean and organized.

  • Communicate with co-workers and management, and forward observations and comments in a timely fashion.

  • Apply cross-selling merchandising techniques to maximize sales potential.

  • Collect feedback forms from customers to facilitate efficient inventory management and movement.

  • Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Compensation

The starting salary is $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications


  • 1–3 years of leadership and training experience.

Work Environment

Beautiful. You’ll be working in an iconic, unforgettable location, with opportunities to explore scenery and wildlife in the Canadian Rockies. You’ll meet team members from around the world and participate in team events. The work is independent and remote, with a focus on safety and environmental stewardship. The role may involve physical activity, including walking, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance. Duties may change based on team and company needs.
