Johnstons of Elgin is recruiting a Coffee Shop Assistant to join its front of house team at its onsite eatery in Elgin, which holds a 5 star VisitScotland rating.

This is a customer facing role within a high quality café environment, focused on delivering excellent service and maintaining consistently high standards.

The role

You will welcome customers and provide friendly, professional customer service at all times.

You will prepare and serve hot drinks, take food orders, operate the till, and serve food.

You will use your product knowledge to advise customers and assist with menu choices.

You will support the team with general cleaning and tidying duties to ensure a welcoming environment.

You will work as part of a busy team, remaining calm and positive during peak times.

What we are looking for

Previous experience in a fast paced, customer facing role is preferred but not essential.

Contract and pay

Permanent role.
Part time, 20 or 24 hours per week.
Working 4 days out of 7, including some weekends.
