A governmental body in Canada is seeking a Forest Inventory Data Analyst to test and enhance the Variable Density Yield Projection system (VDYP7). The Biometric team is an established group of three professionals dedicated to maintaining and improving Variable Density Yield Projection system (VDYP7), a key tool for updating forest inventory and generating yield tables for Timber Supply Review. You'll work closely with a Forest Mensurationist and contribute to impactful projects that shape sustainable forestry management. As a Forest Inventory Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for testing the newly rewritten VDYP7, helping to improve the accuracy of its projections. Your work will have a direct impact on ensuring reliable data for sustainable forest management in British Columbia.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
