Your Role:
As a CNC Operator at CustomCastings, you will:

• Operate CNC Machines: Work with advanced CNC lathes and mills to machine aluminum and zinc castings to precise specifications.
• Interpret Technical Documents: Read and understand technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
• Utilize Precision Instruments: Use measuring tools such as callipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to optimize machining processes and implement best practices for aluminum machining.

What We’re Looking For:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of Aluminum Machining: Understanding of best practices for machining aluminum, including tool selection, cutting speeds, and feed rates to achieve optimal surface finishes and dimensional accuracy.
• Team Player: Strong collaboration skills with a focus on continuous improvement and adaptability.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as needed to meet production demands.
