Requirements – What do you need to have?
  • Applicants must have a valid Massachusetts C.N.A. License
  • Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone’s life
  • A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
  • Valid driver’s license; Use of your personal vehicle.
  • A TB screening and Physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after
What Does the Job Entail?

You will be part of a team supporting adults with development disabilities in a residential program. Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes:

  • Individual community outings
  • Meal preparation
  • Assistance with activities of daily living
  • Personal care
  • Medical appointments
What are Community Outings?

As a Direct Care Professional, you will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples of some outings are:

  • The Movies
  • Shopping
  • Going to Dinner
  • Baseball Game
  • Bowling
Qualifications and Encouragement

Candidates with an interest in CNA, PCA and HHA type work are encouraged to apply. Students in Human Services, Psychology, and Sociology programs are encouraged to apply. (Note that we offer tuition Assistance)
