Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer | Cloud Developer with a strong foundation in cloud architecture and technical leadership to support enterprise-level application rationalization and cloud migration initiatives across Azure and AWS platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native solutions, while also guiding teams through cloud modernization journeys.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute large-scale application rationalization and migration efforts from on-prem to cloud (Azure and AWS).
• Design and implement cloud-native architectures using best practices for scalability, security, and resiliency.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and infrastructure teams to develop migration roadmaps and modernization strategies.
• Develop, test, and deploy reusable infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to development teams in adopting cloud-first design patterns and DevOps practices.
• Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to security standards and cloud governance frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud deployment and integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystems.
• Proficient in programming / scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, serverless frameworks, and API integrations.
• Experience with cloud migration tools such as Azure Migrate, AWS Migration Hub, or third-party solutions.
• Familiarity with application portfolio analysis and rationalization strategies.
• Strong grasp of security principles, IAM, network design, and cloud compliance standards.
• Strong grasp of cloud architecture, including scalability, resilience, cost control, and security.
• Ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in agile and DevSecOps environments.
