POSITION SUMMRARY
The Clinical System Analyst, Medical Affairs, plays a critical role in analyzing and interpreting clinical data to provide insight, support strategic initiative, and improve operational efficiency. The role collaborates with teams and stakeholders to prepare reports, dashboards, and recommendations.
Our current hybrid model requires employees to work on-site three days per week. This schedule supports collaboration while offering flexibility. Please note that on-site requirements may change at any time based on operational needs.
Duties
- Analyze and interpret clinical data to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues, providing actionable insights for decision‑making.
- Prepare clear reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Support implementation and optimization of digital solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop summaries and recommendations for review teams and submit to Senior Management Team (SMT).
- Create and validate performance metrics for departmental and organizational evaluation.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing.
- Escalate concerns promptly and provide regular updates on departmental activities and projects.
- Maintain documentation of procedures, standards, and confidential reviews.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance team knowledge.
- Ensure secure handling of documentation related to procedures and confidential reviews.
- Support continuous review and enhancement of processes, policies, and procedures to align with organizational standards and best practices.
- Coordinate and document internal quality‑of‑care reviews and sensitive case reviews.
- Compile and analyze professional standards documentation, providing summaries for leadership.
- Participate in confidential investigations, audits, and reviews with discretion.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems (Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑based environment.
- Strong capability to analyze clinical records and develop solutions for improvement in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- College Certificate or equivalent post‑secondary education in a related field.
- 1‑3 years of experience in reporting or analytics.
- English and French at Level A required for oral comprehension, oral expression, reading, and writing.
Preferred
- 4‑year undergraduate degree in healthcare administration, health information management, medical analysis, or business administration.
- 3 years of experience in an Analyst position.
